Weekly Wanderings [04.24.17]

Whiskey Wednesday for Women is a weekly event at Ri Ra in Georgetown, hosted by Sally Lyle to sit down and talk about whiskey. This week (April 26th) will be Japanese whiskey, and, if you’re busy, next week they’re doing USA-based whiskey!

One of our favorite events is this week! Georgetown’s annual French market kicks off April 28th and goes into the 30th. This year over 40 locally-owned merchants, restaurants, salons and galleries display discounted items and unique finds will be there!

Dolcezzas Gelato factory just reopened last week and, guess what? They have milkshakes now. Flavors include Lemon Pound Cake Check and Cinnamon Toast Crunch, which both sound like a sip of heaven. Check out this DC favorite in Union Market.

The annual Smithsonian Craftshow is this week, from April 27th-30th, is this week. Score a ticket here for $17. Heads up, if you order tickets in advance, they’re only $14. Get the chance to talk to over 100 fabulous artists, buy some one-of-a-kind pieces, and support the Smithsonian!

14th just got a new favorite neighborhood haunt: Radiator. With lots of nooks, cozy seating, and a great selection of cocktails, we’re dying to try out this new place.
